Course Overview
The CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation is a globally respected qualification in finance. Comprising three levels, Level 1 is particularly important as it lays the groundwork for the subsequent levels. This certification, governed by a reputable body, establishes standards for necessary skills and practical knowledge in finance. In India, pursuing a CFA is highly recommended for those aiming for a career in finance due to its esteemed status and comprehensive curriculum.

Duration of each session: 2 hours and 15 minutes (approximately 135 minutes)
The Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program consists of three sequential levels of exams:
Level I: This exam focuses on the foundation of investment analysis.
Level II: Assesses your ability to apply those foundational concepts and analyze different asset classes.
Level III: Emphasis on portfolio management and integrates all the knowledge and skills from the previous levels.
There are two main paths to qualify for the CFA Level 1 exam:
Education: You must have a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) from a recognized university or college.
Experience: You can have a minimum of 4,000 hours of qualified work experience in a relevant field, obtained over a minimum of three years. This work experience cannot overlap with your education timeline.
Even if you don't have a bachelor's degree, you can still qualify through work experience.
Additionally, undergraduate students in their final year (within 23 months of graduation) are also eligible to register for the Level 1 exam. But they must complete their degree before taking Level 2.
CFA Level 1: February, May, August, and November.
